The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
